In 2025, the SCPAAA was founded as a standalone, nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization. The group is independent of the Sunnyvale Police Department, but exists to provide an avenue for continued involvement for the CPA graduates who wish to give back to their department and community. The SCPAAA is an all-volunteer organization comprised of people whose interest in law enforcement and appreciation of the Sunnyvale Police Department bring them together in service.
The SCPAAA monthly board meeting is held on the third Thursday of each month, starting at 6:30 pm. Any current member is invited to join us.
The general meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of each month, beginning at 7:00 p.m., where we conduct association business and then hear a presentation from a guest speaker.
